Online lecture: How depressed people can use the coronavirus crisis to improve their emotional well-being

Joint lecture series "Corona crisis and mental health" by the Medical Center - University of Freiburg and the Freiburg Alliance Against Depression / Next date: February 8

The coronavirus pandemic has turned many people's everyday lives upside down. Studies show that people react very differently to the current situation and that not everyone is suffering as a result. But how are people with a depressive disorder coping with the current situation? Are there ways of coping with depressive symptoms? The online lecture "How depressive people can use the corona crisis to improve their emotional well-being" by Dr. Christian Klesse, psychological psychotherapist at the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg, addresses these questions. "The pandemic can be a challenge for people with depression that can be overcome despite the current circumstances," says Klesse. The lecture will be livestreamed on Monday, February 8, 2021 from 6.30 pm.

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions anonymously. Registration is not required. Participation is free of charge. You can find the livestream here www.uniklinik-freiburg.de/corona-krise-und-psychische-gesundheit

The lecture is part of the event series "Corona crisis and mental health" of the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg in cooperation with the Freiburg Alliance against Depression e.V.
