New Dean of the Faculty of Medicine
Prof. Dr. Lutz Hein is the new Dean of the Faculty of Medicine - University of Freiburg
Prof. Dr. Lutz Hein (57) was elected as the new full-time Dean of the Faculty of Medicine - University of Freiburg at the Faculty Council meeting in mid-April. At the same time, he will become a Member of the Board of Directors of the Medical Center - University of Freiburg. The medical doctor and pharmacologist from Lübeck will take up his post on June 1. He has held Chair II of the Institute of Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Freiburg since 2004. Prof. Hein is active in numerous scientific committees. Among other things, he is a member of the SFB Senate Committee of the German Research Foundation (DFG), the Drug Commission of the German Medical Association and the National Academy of Sciences - Leopoldina.
