On Saturday, July 23, there will be excitement, games and lots of good entertainment for all friends of the University Children's Hospital

After a two-year break, the Center for Pediatrics at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg is once again celebrating its traditional summer party on Saturday, July 23 from 1 pm to 4 pm in the park of the University Children's Hospital (Mathildenstraße 1, Freiburg).

All former and current patients and their families, friends, partners, employees and patrons of the Freiburg Children's Clinic are cordially invited. The party will be opened by Prof. Dr. Ute Spiekerkötter, Spokesperson of the Center for Pediatrics, and Prof. Dr. Dr. Rainer Schmelzeisen, Deputy Chief Medical Officer of the Medical Center - University of Freiburg.

Young guests can look forward to numerous activities such as a children's hairdresser, hands-on science, a flea market and the clinic clowns, who are celebrating their 20th anniversary this year. Other highlights include visits from the SC Freiburg mascots (SC Füchsle) and Europa-Park (Ed Euromaus). There will also be two great stage shows by artists from Europa-Park.

Other attractions to see up close include a fire engine with a spray castle, a motorcycle and a police patrol car as well as an ambulance from the Medical Center - University of Freiburg.

Once again this year, the festival is supported by many volunteers, employees, donors and sponsors, to whom the organizers would like to express their sincere thanks. All proceeds go directly to the educational work with sick children and young people at the Center for Pediatrics.
