Colorectal cancer is one of the most common types of cancer in Germany. It is currently the third most common tumor disease in men and the second most common in women. There are also other types of cancer of the digestive tract, such as pancreatic cancer or stomach or esophageal cancer, which are comparatively rare but are usually only diagnosed at an advanced stage due to the late onset of symptoms. Those affected are often unsure of what to expect after diagnosis and what treatment options are available.

The Medical Center - University of Freiburg is therefore offering a free telephone consultation on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 on the topic of "Colorectal cancer and other cancers of the digestive tract". From 9 am to 6 pm, Prof. Dr. Hannes Neeff, Head of the Colorectal Cancer Center at the University Medical Center, Prof. Dr. Michael Quante, Head of the Gastrointestinal Tumor Center at the University Medical Center and Prof. Dr. Heiko Becker, Senior Physician at the Department of Medicine I at the University Medical Center, as well as other experts will answer questions or offer a second opinion.
