6,000 euros will benefit the recently opened Day Clinic 2 to promote the mental health of children and young people / Table football and therapy materials purchased

The challenges posed by the coronavirus pandemic have significantly increased the need for psychiatric treatment, particularly in the area of depression and eating disorders in children and adolescents. SC Freiburg has therefore made a donation of 6,000 euros to support Day Clinic 2 of the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg, which opened in mid-May.

SC Freiburg had advertised for support for the day clinic with a Christmas calendar campaign. The donations were used to purchase therapy materials and a new table football table for the young patients.

The additional places in Day Clinic 2 will acutely improve psychiatric care in the region. In order to ensure that children and adolescents can also receive psychiatric care in line with their needs in the longer term, a structural extension to the clinic is necessary.
