On Saturday, July 22, the Blood Donation Center of the Medical Center - University of Freiburg invites you to its summer party / Insight into the new premises

The Blood Donation Center of the Medical Center - University of Freiburg and the regioblut e.V. association invite you to the big summer festival on Saturday, July 22 from 12 noon to 5 p.m. at Breisacher Straße 115b in Freiburg. Under the motto "Summer, sun, donation", interested parties can take a look behind the scenes of blood donation and experience hands-on medicine.

Guests will be treated to delicious food, ice cream and cool drinks on the shady lawn behind the blood donation center. Younger visitors can look forward to a colorful children's program with a bouncy castle, goal wall shooting, giant soap bubbles and much more. Bikes can be repaired in the hands-on bike workshop, and those with a lucky hand can win great prizes in the raffle. The program is complemented by demonstrations on resuscitation, a blood group test and the opportunity to try your hand at puncturing.

The summer festival starts at 12 noon. The official welcome will take place at 2 pm, followed by a champagne toast. Guided tours of the new rooms will take place at 1.30 pm, 2.30 pm, 3.30 pm and 4.30 pm. All proceeds from the festival will go to the non-profit organization regioblut. Blood can be donated during regular opening hours until 1 pm.

Monday and Tuesday 8 am to 3 pm
Wednesday and Thursday 12 pm to 7 pm
Friday and Saturday 8 am to 1 pm
