Medical Center - University of Freiburg distributes 6,000 free ice creams

The current temperatures call for cool refreshment. The Medical Center - University of Freiburg therefore gave patients and employees a free fruit ice cream to cool off. On Tuesday, July 18, 2023, several helpers distributed the ice cream in the park in front of the surgery department on the central campus of the Medical Center - University of Freiburg. Employees and patients at the external clinics, the Tumor Biology Clinic and the Bad Krozingen campus were also treated. A total of around 6,000 ice-cold refreshments were distributed.

"Sometimes it's small gestures and kindness that make all the difference," says Anja Simon, Commercial Director of the Medical Center - University of Freiburg. "We know that the current temperatures are a major challenge for many people and we are delighted if we can put a smile on the faces of our employees and patients with the distribution campaign."
