Yoga for strength, power and well-being
The Women's Health Center of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg is offering a yoga course for people with cancer experience from September 20, 2023 / Register now
Cancer can have a profound impact on the lives of those affected. Pain, nausea, fatigue, anxiety and worry can have a major impact on everyday life. Naturopathic complementary methods such as yoga supplement medical therapies and can alleviate symptoms during or after cancer treatment and improve well-being. The Health Center for Women at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg is therefore offering a weekly yoga course for people with cancer starting on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 from 4.45 pm to 5.45 pm. The gentle exercises build up the back and abdominal muscles, train overall mobility and have a positive effect on posture and self-confidence.
The yoga course at the Health Center for Women at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg is adapted to the special needs of people with cancer and requires no previous knowledge. Participation costs 60 euros. There are six sessions in total. It is possible to join the course at any time.
