Focus: Inflammations and tumors of the eyes

"Many eye diseases can be prevented or their progression significantly slowed down if something is done early on. That's why we want to make people aware of the importance of looking after their eye health and show them the possibilities of prevention," says Prof. Dr. Thomas Reinhard, Medical Director of the Eye Center - University of Freiburg.

At the event, the experts from the Eye Center will discuss the prevention of common diseases such as glaucoma and cataracts as well as the detection and treatment of inflammation in the eyes, known as uveitis, and will report on how benign and malignant tumors in and around the eye can be safely removed.
