"Art against crises and disasters"
On Tuesday, March 12, 2024, an exhibition by Udo W. Hoffmann will open at the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg
Udo W. Hoffmann's paintings are literally doors: just as other painters use the canvas as a support, Hoffmann uses door panels. In the context of psychiatry, they can serve as door openers for worlds of association in which threshold fears can be overcome and healing spaces with a protective and comforting function can be discovered. Hoffmann's works can be seen from Tuesday, March 12, 2024 in the garden wing of the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg, Hauptstraße 5 in Freiburg. The vernissage of the exhibition "Art against crises and catastrophes" begins at 6 pm.
