Another warning strike at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg
Nationwide one-day warning strike by physicians at university hospitals on Monday, March 11, 2024 / Planned appointments at Medical Center - University of Freiburg reduced / Emergency care ensured
On Monday, March 11, 2024, the Marburger Bund has called on medical staff at university hospitals to take part in an all-day warning strike. As a result, some of the planned operations and outpatient appointments at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg will have to be postponed. Emergency care, obstetrics and the care of intensive care patients are not affected. The blood donation center is open as usual. Patients should be prepared for longer waiting times on Monday. Emergency patients should switch to other emergency departments if possible.
People whose appointments have to be canceled will be actively informed by the specialist departments. The University Hospital asks you to refrain from making inquiries.
