Psychosomatic Tuesday Colloquium at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg starts on November 12 / Lecture series on various topics from the field of psychosomatics / Online and face-to-face participation possible

How are soul, body and mind connected? This overarching question links the lectures of the Psychosomatic Tuesday Colloquium of the Department of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg. Starting on Tuesday, November 12 , the lecture series will focus on the topic of "Changing working environments". The lectures will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in lecture hall 1010 in the Kollegiengebäude I at the University of Freiburg and online.

"Work can be a source of fulfillment and satisfaction - but burdens and stress are also part of everyday working life. The colloquium offers the opportunity to shed light on current challenges and approaches for a healthy working environment," says Prof. Dr. Claas Lahmann, Medical Director of the Department of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg.

Digitalization, organizational cultures and health

Under the motto "Changing worlds of work", the lecture series is dedicated to the question of how the world of work is changing under the influence of digitalization, changing organizational cultures and new psychological demands and what effects this has on health and well-being. The series will kick off with a lecture on findings from research in the sociology of work and challenges for occupational health management by Dr. Martin Kuhlmann, Director of the Sociological Research Institute at Georg-August-Universität Göttingen.
