Generous donation supports children of parents with cancer
The "Tigerheart... when parents have cancer" program of the Medical Center - University of Freiburg is supported by Pierre Fabre with 10,000 euros
Pierre Fabre Pharma GmbH and Pierre Fabre Dermo-Kosmetik GmbH have jointly donated EUR 10,000 to "Tigerherz ... wenn Eltern Krebs haben", a program of the Comprehensive Cancer Center Freiburg - CCCF at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg. The donation serves to promote preventative work for children and young people whose parents have cancer and recognizes the importance of the program for affected families.
Support program for affected families
The "Tigerheart ... when parents have cancer" program supports families in which one parent has cancer, with a particular focus on the needs of the children. With individual and group activities, creative materials and space for feelings, the program helps to address fears and at the same time create joy and relief. An extensive vacation program also offers the children wonderful experiences in the group. The "Tigerherz" counseling program is aimed at parents, relatives, professionals and interested people. All services are free of charge.
