Fruity refreshment on summer days
Freiburg University Medical Center distributes 6,000 ice creams free of charge
Even in mild summer temperatures, a cool refreshment puts you in a good mood. The University Medical Center Freiburg therefore gave patients and staff a free fruit ice cream to cool off. On Tuesday, July 22, 2025, several helpers distributed the ice cream in the park in front of the surgery department on the central campus of the University Medical Center Freiburg. Employees and patients at the external clinics, the Tumor Biology Clinic and the Bad Krozingen campus were also treated to free ice cream in the respective cafeterias. A total of around 6,000 ice-cold refreshments were distributed.
