According to a Germany-wide evaluation, the Medical Center - University of Freiburg is one of the most attractive employers in nursing care
Great recognition for nursing care at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg: According to a recent study by Stern magazine, the hospital is one of the best employers for nurses in Germany. In the "University Hospitals" category, the Medical Center - University of Freiburg received the grade "very good" in all five evaluation criteria - a result that only Tübingen, Erlangen and Leipzig achieved nationwide.
Key factors such as medical quality, working conditions, remuneration, work-life balance and career prospects were assessed. The analysis was carried out by Stern together with the independent market research institute Munich Inquire Media (MINQ). It was based on extensive data analyses, employee surveys and publicly available quality indicators.
"The very good result shows that our continuous ideas and concepts to promote, relieve and retain nursing staff in the long term are bearing fruit," says Helmut Schiffer, Nursing Director of the Medical Center - University of Freiburg. "We see the result as recognition for all nursing staff who work for our patients every day with commitment and expertise."
