Information event for chronic inflammatory bowel diseases

An information event on chronic inflammatory bowel disease will take place on November 29 / Affected persons, relatives and interested parties are invited to attend


Over half a million people in Germany are affected by a chronic inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis. In order to inform patients, relatives and interested parties about current developments, the German Crohn's Disease/Ulcerative Colitis Association (DCCV e. V.) and the Department of Medicine II at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg invite you to an information and training event on Saturday, November 29, 2025. The event will begin at 9.30 a.m. in the large lecture hall of the Medical Clinic, Hugstetter Str. 55 in Freiburg. Participation is free of charge and registration is not required.

Understanding CED - utilizing progress

During the information event, experts from the Medical Center - University of Freiburg will provide an insight into current developments in IBD. Among other things, new drug therapy approaches and surgical treatment options will be presented. Support and counseling services for those affected will also be presented. The event will conclude with an open discussion with room for questions and exchange.
