International automotive supplier collects 15,000 euros for "Tigerheart...when parents have cancer"
Samvardhana Motherson Group supports free children's and youth services offered by the Psychosocial Cancer Counseling Service at the Comprehensive Cancer Center Freiburg - CCCF of the Medical Center - University of Freiburg
The globally active company Samvardhana Motherson Group, headquartered in India, raised 15,000 euros for the "Tigerheart...when parents have cancer" program with a raffle at a gala held in Munich. SMG Andreas Heuser, Head of the Corporate Office Europe and America of the Motherson Group, presented the free children's and youth services offered by the Comprehensive Cancer Center Freiburg - CCCF at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg to the Group's predominantly Indian employees. On July 12, 2016, Corinne Effinger and Regina Glaser (both Corporate Communications, Motherson Group) presented the proud sum to Rainer Bredenkamp, Managing Director of the Comprehensive Cancer Center Freiburg - CCCF at the Medical Center of Freiburg, and Riccarda Kräuter-Schächtele, Project Manager Communications and Fundraising at the Comprehensive Cancer Center Freiburg - CCCF, on behalf of the Motherson Group. The money can be used to further support the work of the service, which is financed purely by donations, and to expand individual therapy projects.
The "Tigerheart... when parents have cancer" service is aimed at families in which one parent has cancer. The Tigerherzte team supports the whole family by advising parents in this changed life situation and responding to the needs of their children - in one-to-one contact, in sibling sessions or in groups.
The Samvardhana Motherson Group manufactures vehicle-related products worldwide: cockpits, wiring, vehicle mirrors, bumpers, door panels.
