Comprehensive Cancer Center Freiburg - CCCF

Center for Head and Neck Tumors

Treating head and neck tumors is a special challenge

Head and neck tumors can affect swallowing, breathing, and voice and have an impact on external appearance. This implies the necessity of especially gentle treatment. We offer our patients comprehensive diagnostics as well as the entire range of surgical, radiotherapy, and drug treatments for head and neck tumors as well as numerous general services, such as psychosocial support or voice and swallowing training. Our extensive range of services also includes aftercare in our tumor consultation hour.

Self-Help & Information Material

Support groups for people with the same disease are an opportunity to exchange information and experiences independently without professional guidance as well as to give and receive emotional support. Members of support groups are experts in matters that affect them personally and often possess a high degree of “lay competence.” Find out more (in German)
