Nicotine: No Thanks!

“Do something before the child falls into the well” is the motto of an ongoing program in which we put on an interesting and entertaining two-and-a-half-hour performance for seventh and eighth graders that aims to spoil their taste for the first cigarette.

As doctors at the Medical Center – University of Freiburg, we are confronted every day with the consequences of nicotine consumption. Our experience also teaches us that it is easier to forgo this vice with addictive potential than to wean oneself off it painfully later on.
