Wir überwinden Grenzen

The art exhibition "A little story of humanity" by eleven artists from the Freiburg region will open with a vernissage on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 2 pm at the Clinic for Oncological Rehabilitation at the University Medical Center Freiburg (Lehener Straße 86 in Freiburg). More than 40 works of painting, sculpture, installation and poetry will be on display, addressing themes such as solidarity, hope and comfort. The exhibition will be on display for a year and invites patients, relatives and interested parties to discover the artistic approach to the theme of humanity in its many facets. All artists will be present at the opening and look forward to stimulating discussions. Musical accompaniment will be provided by Johannes Nied (double bass) and Bruno Schülzle (bandoneon).

Space for encounters and inspiration

The exhibition enables a silent dialog about strength and vulnerability. Here, art becomes a medium for making the unspeakable visible and stimulating thoughts where words are lacking. The works unfold their full effect through the perception and interpretation of the viewer. The exhibition sees itself as a space for encounters and a source of inspiration, offering patients and visitors impulses for reflection and exchange.
