Unusual poster campaign wins prize in the Employer Marketing category

Outstanding achievements in hospital marketing were honored with the KU Awards 2019 at the Management Congress in Berlin on October 24, 2019. The KU Awards are organized annually by Mediengruppe Oberfranken.

The University Medical Center Freiburg took first place in the Employer Marketing category. It did so with a special poster campaign that the university hospital used to recruit new employees at the beginning of the year: doctors, nurses and other hospital employees appeared as strong heroes and heroines on recreated film posters.

"With this campaign, which is unusual for a university hospital, we rose to the challenge of the staff shortage with a relaxed approach and received a lot of positive feedback. We are delighted to receive this additional award," says Benjamin Waschow, Head of Corporate Communications at the University Medical Center Freiburg.

The idea for the campaign was the result of cooperation between Corporate Communications and the Strategic HR Development department.
