Sleep, insomnia and the psyche
On December 11, 2019, there will be a public lecture on the topic of sleep and mental health
Good sleep keeps you fit and healthy. Everyone knows that. However, according to recent surveys, more and more people are suffering from difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep. Sleep disorders can even become chronic and have a negative impact on everyday life. Suitable psychotherapy, for example, offers a solution. What are the causes of sleep disorders, at what point do we speak of a chronic illness and what psychological consequences can occur for those affected? Prof. Dr. Dieter Riemann, Head of the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychophysiology at the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at the Freiburg University Medical Center, will answer these and other questions on
Wednesday, December 11, 2019, at 6 p.m.
in the Audimax of the University of Freiburg (Kollegiengebäude II)

in a public lecture entitled "Sleep, insomnia and the psyche". The psychologist and sleep expert will explain, among other things, how to counteract sleep disorders at an early stage with simple tips and what treatment methods are available.
