Personalized Treatment Planning
Making Treatments More Precise and Efficient
The “Personalized Treatment Planning” working group is researching innovative approaches to improve the precision and efficiency of medical treatments. A particular focus is on radiation therapy. By combining artificial intelligence with modern imaging technologies, the goal is to better account for patients’ individual circumstances and provide more targeted support for treatment decisions.
Combining Artificial Intelligence and Imaging
The working group is investigating how imaging data and AI-based analytical methods can be used to plan and tailor therapies. The goal is to develop personalized treatment plans, optimize treatment processes, and improve the effectiveness of therapy. At the same time, the aim is to preserve healthy tissue structures as much as possible.
From Research to Clinical Practice
By combining technological innovations with clinical expertise, the goal is to develop new methods for individualized treatment planning and to further refine them for use in patient care. In the long term, this should help tailor treatments more precisely to the needs of individual patients and make treatment processes more efficient.
