Translational Dermato-Immunology
Major Focus:
In our research group we are dedicated to advancing the understanding of inflammatory skin diseases such as psoriasis and atopic dermatitis. Our work focuses on the reclassification of these conditions based on molecular patterns, exploring the underlying mechanisms that drive their chronicity, and identifying novel biomarkers that can revolutionize diagnostics and predict therapy outcomes.
Our motivation is to translate our findings into diagnostic and therapeutic solutions that have a direct impact on patients. This commitment has already led to the creation of Dermagnostix, a company offering innovative molecular diagnostic solutions.
