Warning strike at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg
Emergency care secured despite doctors' warning strike
On Tuesday, February 4, the Marburger Bund has called physicians at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg and the University Heart Center Freiburg - Bad Krozingen to take part in an all-day warning strike. An amicable agreement between the members of the Marburger Bund, the University Medical Center and the University Heart Center ensures that no patients will be harmed. It has also been ensured that all emergency medical procedures, intensive care and urgent operations can take place. This also applies to obstetric care. However, patients should be prepared for longer waiting times on Tuesday during the strike period and - if possible - switch to other emergency departments. If planned surgery appointments cannot take place, the affected patients will be informed directly in good time.
