A vine for research
A vine sponsorship at the Staatsweingut Freiburg supports innovative projects in cancer medicine at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg
Combining the pleasant with the helpful: It's easy with a vine sponsorship from Staatsweingut Freiburg. It has been supporting research projects of the Fördergesellschaft Forschung Tumorbiologie e.V. since 1992, when the Staatsweingut planted a "vineyard for research" on the Blankenhornsberg near Ihringen am Kaiserstuhl. "You can sponsor every Pinot Noir vine growing there," says Prof. Dr. Dieter Marmé, Chairman of the Tumor Biology Research Promotion Society. In order to promote research, the society supports innovative projects in cancer medicine at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg.
In future, it will be even more attractive to take on such a sponsorship, as the offer has been extended: every year, there will be exclusive sponsored wine as well as invitations to sponsor meetings and attractive offers from the Freiburg State Winery. "This is a great idea for an important goal. We look forward to more supporters," says Prof. Marmé.
