The Parents' School of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg offers the parents' information evening "Obstetrics" for expectant parents as a video conference.

How does the birth take place in the hospital? What options are there for pain relief? What happens in the event of complications? Expectant parents often have many questions, especially when having their first child. In order to support them in the current situation, the Parents' School of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg is organizing online information events on the topics of birth, pregnancy and parental leave in the coming months. Participants will receive important information in a one-hour lecture and then have the opportunity to ask questions and talk to physicians and midwives at the Freiburg Women's Hospital.

The Parents' Information Evening Obstetrics will take place for the first time on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 from 6 pm to 7 pm . From January 2021, the event will be repeated every 2nd Tuesday of the month.

As an open video conference, the event is aimed at all interested parties and is free of charge. Registration is required. All you need to participate is the "GoToMeeting" app and an internet-enabled device.
