Hardship regulations possible in individual areas / Outpatient appointments take place
Against the background of the continuously increasing number of coronavirus infections in the region, a ban on visits to the Medical Center - University of Freiburg and the University Heart Center Freiburg - Bad Krozingen applies with immediate effect. In exceptional cases, individual visits may take place after consultation with the respective treatment team or ward (hardship regulations). There are special regulations in particular for the intensive care units, the pediatric clinic and obstetrics.
If patients have an appointment for outpatient or inpatient treatment, they may continue to enter the clinic buildings alone.
