Thoracic surgery outpatient clinic relocated
From Monday, February 8, 2021, the outpatient units of the Department of Thoracic Surgery will be located on the first floor of the Surgical Clinic
As of Monday, February 8, the Thoracic Surgery Outpatient Clinic and Private Outpatient Clinic as well as the Bronchoscopy and Pulmonary Function Laboratory at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg will be located on the first floor of the Surgical Clinic. The telephone numbers remain unchanged.
The thoracic surgery wards in the Interdisciplinary Tumor Center can also be reached quickly from the new premises via a connecting corridor. "We are very pleased to be able to offer our outpatients a contemporary ambience," says Professor Dr. Bernward Passlick, Medical Director of the Department of Thoracic Surgery, welcoming the move.
Bronchoscopy in particular is now also housed in technically up-to-date rooms. Patients of all age groups from the entire region are treated in this treatment unit; in addition to lung diseases in adults, "swallowed" foreign bodies in children and infants are also recovered. The unit is operational around the clock.
