Online lecture: "Problems with the pelvic floor"
On Wednesday, August 18, 2021, the next lecture in the online event series "Knowledge helps" will take place at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg
Urinary incontinence, prolapse, difficulties with bowel control or pain in the pelvic area during sexual intercourse can be signs of a weak pelvic floor. One in four women will be confronted with this problem in the course of their lives and their daily life can be severely restricted by pelvic floor weakness.Precise diagnostics using the latest examination techniques and a therapy tailored to the individual patient can help to significantly improve quality of life.
Those affected and interested will receive comprehensive information on symptoms and treatment options in the online lecture "Problems with the pelvic floor" on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 from 6 pm to 7 pm. The speakers from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg will be Medical Director Prof. Dr. Ingolf Juhasz-Böss and Managing Senior Physician PDDr. Juliane Farthmann. After the lecture, there will be an opportunity to ask questions and talk to the experts.
The event is part of the online seminar series "Wissen hilft" (Knowledge helps) of the Women's Health Center of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg. Participation in the online lectures is free of charge. Registration is required.
