Family Bretz Foundation supports the "Tiger Heart ... when parents have cancer" program of the Medical Center - University of Freiburg with more than 10,000 euros

With a donation of 10,500 euros, the Familie Bretz Foundation from Freiburg is supporting the "Tigerherz ... wenn Eltern Krebs haben" (Tiger Heart ... when parents have cancer) program of the Comprehensive Cancer Center Freiburg - CCCF at the Medical Center of Freiburg. Frank Hummel, an employee at Commerzbank AG, which administers the foundation's funds, came to the "Tigerherz" studio on October 19, 2021, to hand over the symbolic check to Günther Storz, Managing Director of the Tumor Center.

"Tigerherz ... when parents have cancer" is aimed at families in which one parent has cancer. The aim is to help the whole family by prioritizing the needs of the children in this difficult situation. The children and young people are worked with individually or in groups, often creatively with different materials. There is room for feelings and fears are addressed, but fun and laughter are also included. An extensive vacation program enables the "Tigerherz" children to have wonderful experiences in the group. The "Tigerherz" advisory service is aimed at parents, grandparents, professionals and interested people. All services are free of charge.
