A look at the soul, body and mind
Psychosomatic Tuesday Colloquium will take place as a hybrid event in the summer semester 2022 / First lecture in the event series on May 3, 2022
How are soul, body and mind connected? This overarching question connects the lectures of the Psychosomatic Tuesday Colloquium of the Department of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg. This year's topics include "Verbal humor", "Effects of music on body and soul" and research findings on the question "Are we all narcissistic?".
Dr. Johannes Zimmermann, Professor of Differential and Personality Psychology at the University of Kassel, will kick off the interdisciplinary colloquium on Tuesday, 3 May 2022from 6.30 pm to 8 pm. In his lecture "Towards an evidence-based model for describing mental health problems", he will address criticism of the current classification systems for mental disorders.
The ten lectures of the colloquium are open to all interested parties and will take place in the summer semester 2022 on Tuesdays from 6.30 pm to 8 pm both in presence in the Paulussaal, Dreisamstraße 3, 79098 Freiburg and via livestream with recording.
Participation and registration
Participation in the colloquium is free of charge. Registration is not required.
