Lecture on the latest head surgery

Experts from the Medical Center - University of Freiburg will explain how highly complex head surgery can be performed using minimally invasive techniques and comprehensive 3D imaging at the 2nd Freiburg Evening Lecture / Lecture on July 7 at 6:30 p.m.


A serious bicycle accident, a tumor or a severe jaw malposition: there are many reasons for surgery on the head or face. In the anatomically demanding head and face area, state-of-the-art procedures can now be used to shorten operating times, significantly reduce risks and simplify surgical approaches. at 6.30 p.m. in the lecture hall of the University of Freiburg Women's Hospital,
Hugstetter Straße 55, Freiburg.

Admission is free. Registration is not required. It is compulsory to wear an FFP2 masks.

"We will use impressive examples to show the audience the extensive possibilities that experienced surgeons have in combination with the latest medical technology. Nowadays, we can even perform very complex procedures without an external scar," explains Prof. Dr. Dr. Rainer Schmelzeisen, Medical Director of the Department of Oral, Maxillofacial, and Regional Plastic Surgery at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg, and his team.

After the presentations, the speakers will answer questions from the audience. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to continue the conversation with the experts over drinks and snacks.
