Cluster conference "The future of nursing care"
On September 21 and 22 in Bad Krozingen, experts will discuss the contribution that artificial intelligence, care robots and the like can make to patient care / Online and in-person participation possible
Under the motto "Technology moves nursing care", the Nursing Practice Center Freiburg at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg is hosting the 5th cluster conference of the "Future of Nursing Care" cluster initiated by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. The conference will take place on Wednesday, September 21 and Thursday, September 22, 2022 at the Kurhaus Bad Krozingen and online. Participation in the conference is subject to a fee and is possible in person or online. Media representatives have free admission. Registration is required.
The topics range from fully automated beds and telepresence robots in education, advanced training and further education to aids that support people with cognitive impairments in orientation and social participation. At the cluster conference, innovative technologies will be presented in demonstrations and at an accompanying industry exhibition.
"Care support should promote the well-being, abilities and self-determination of people with care needs. Technologies should support nursing caregivers in their daily practice in such a way that human attention can take center stage. The conference aims to show how this can be achieved," says Dr. Johanna Feuchtinger, consortium leader of the Nursing Practice Center Freiburg at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg.
