Press invitation: Rethinking translation: How does innovation come into medicine?

Panel discussion on the traveling exhibition of the Forum Gesundheitsstandort Baden-Württemberg

Innovative ideas advance medicine - if they are actually implemented in healthcare. On Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 5.30 p.m., experts from the Medical Center - University of Freiburg, a Freiburg medical start-up and the pharmaceutical industry will discuss how this can best be achieved at a panel discussion. Topics will include which approaches are already being implemented to get new therapies to patients faster, how the training of medical professionals can be optimized and how new ideas are implemented in start-ups or industry. The panel discussion in the Women's Clinic lecture hall at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg, Hugstetter Str. 55, marks the start of the traveling exhibition "Together for Healthier People" by the Baden-Württemberg Health Forum, an initiative of the state government of Baden-Württemberg. The exhibition will make a stop in the basement of Freiburg's main train stationfrom November 3 to 8, 2022.

Afterwards, speakers and listeners are invited to a get-together in the Frauenklinik library.

Registration is requested by October 28: www.forum-gesundheitsstandort-bw.de/veranstaltungen/translation-neu-gedacht-wie-kommt-innovation-die-medizin

Kick-off for touring exhibition at the main station
