The Women's Health Center at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg is offering the course "PMR - Progressive Muscle Relaxation" from November 24, 2022 / Register now
Progressive muscle relaxation (PMR), also known as progressive muscle relaxation, is an active relaxation method that is easy to learn and can be practiced almost anywhere. It can be used to counteract muscular tension caused by stress, anxiety and worry, among other things. From Thursday, November 24, 2022, the Women's Health Center of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg will be offering a weekly course on progressive muscle relaxation from 6.45 p.m. to 8.15 p.m., comprising a total of eight sessions.
By specifically tensing and relaxing different muscle groups, course participants can find peace and balance. The exercises can be practised regardless of age and physical condition, as they are individually adapted. The course is certified and is subsidized by health insurance.
The course units take place on site in a small group and in compliance with the necessary, strict hygiene measures and under 3G conditions. Participants must provide proof of full vaccination or recovery from SARS-CoV-2 infection or a negative certified rapid antigen test (maximum 24 hours old) or PCR test (maximum 48 hours old).
Please register by Thursday, November 17, 2022.
