Wir überwinden Grenzen

(February 12, 2026) On Wednesday, February 4, the atrium at the Bad Krozingen campus became a place of tranquility and encounter for one hour.

Freiburg pianist Lasse Ebinger played an entertaining program on the grand piano, treating patients, relatives, and staff to a soothing musical interlude—right in the middle of the hospital's daily routine. The concert was part of the "Culture at the Hospital" series, which deliberately creates small cultural islands in the everyday life of the Medical Center – University of Freiburg with changing guests at and around the grand piano. Music can transform spaces and, for a moment, shift the focus away from everyday medical life. That is exactly what could be experienced in the atrium that evening.
