About the ITZ
The modern Interdisciplinary Tumor Center - ITZ was opened on 4 May 2019. It serves as the central entry and contact point for all cancer patients at the Medical Center – University of Freiburg.
The Department of Hematology and Oncology and the Comprehensive Cancer Center, as well as all outpatient departments and wards of our organ-specific cancer centers, are now united in a single building encompassing roughly 6300 square meters of floor space and 104 beds.
