Lectures
- General and special surgery (1st + 2nd clinical semester)
- Orthopaedics (accompanying the block internship in orthopaedic trauma surgery)
- Urology (optional between the 2nd and 5th clinical semester)
- General surgery for dentists
- Revision course in general and visceral surgery (in preparation for the M3 exam)
Block internship
3rd / 4th clinical semester:
Surgery (3.5 weeks)
Orthopaedics/trauma surgery (1.5 weeks)
Urology (1 week)
Examinations
- Subject Surgery
2 written examinations: one each for the lectures in the summer and winter semesters (1st clinical year of study)
OSCE examination(Objective Structured Clinical Examination): an oral-practical examination following the block placement (2nd clinical year of study)
Grading of written examination: grade consists of 50% each of the results of the written examinations in the winter and summer semesters
Grading of OSCE: individual grade - Subject Orthopaedics
Written exam: an end-of-semester exam (multiple choice) for the accompanying lecture of the block internship (2nd clinical year)
OSCE: an oral-practical OSCE exam(Objective Structured Clinical Examination) following the block internship in orthopaedics/trauma surgery (2nd clinical year)
Grading: grade is made up of 60% written exam result and 40% OSCE result - Subject Urology
Written exam: an end-of-semester exam (multiple choice) for the accompanying lecture of the block internship (2nd clinical year of study)
OSCE: an oral-practical OSCE exam(Objective Structured Clinical Examination) following the block internship in orthopaedics/trauma surgery (2nd clinical year of study)
Grading: grade is made up of 60% written exam result and 40% OSCE result
