Contents of theoretical and practical advanced training

Theoretical advanced training

The theoretical advanced training comprises 585 hours. Of these, 252 hours from the generalist nursing training are recognized as part of the equivalence.

The recognized content will be checked at the beginning of the advanced training. We also offer a refresher course (e-learning).

The basic modules provide basic content for the areas of intensive, IMC and emergency care as well as for nursing care in anesthesia. They address fundamental nursing-relevant topics from the related sciences that are independent of the area of application. The basic modules of the advanced training are fully credited.

All legally prescribed contents of advanced training in intensive care are taught within the model project.

The respective specialist modules cover specific specialist knowledge with different thematic focuses. The module structure is interdisciplinary. The topics marked in blue are credited for the specialist modules (82 hours in total).

All legally prescribed contents of advanced training in intensive care are taught within the model project.
