Participation requirements and application
Participation requirements
- Completed training as a nursing care specialist (nurses with a professional license in accordance with §1 of the Nursing Care Professions Act)
- Start of advanced training no later than 12 months after completion of the aforementioned training
- 350 hours of in-depth work on an intensive care unit in the 3rd year of training
- Confirmed equivalence of the theoretical training content to the creditable further training content
- From the 3rd year of training, participation in the accompanying program of resilience training, coaching and supervision
- All of the above requirements must be met

Application
Applications must be submitted no later than March 15 of the year in which the advanced training begins.

If you are interested in this advanced training, please send an e-mail to the academy management, Mr. Franz-Josef Overhoff(franz-josef.overhoff@uniklinik-freiburg.de), by the end of the second year of training at the latest.

After completing the intensive care unit specialization in the third year of training, send us your application to participate in the advanced training via our online portal.
Please enclose:
- Last annual GPA certificate (certificate from the vocational school for nursing care) or, if applicable, final certificate from the generalist nursing care training program
- Curriculum vitae
- Letter of application/letter of motivation
