Advanced training departmentSeveral modules result in one certificate
The certificate courses at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg are aimed at specific groups of people who wish to specialize in their respective field. In order to complete a course, advanced training courses must be attended within a certain period of time.
The "Professional Office Management" certificate course is aimed at all employees in secretarial or assistant functions, clerical staff and employees who have an administrative function. This course offers you the opportunity to attend selected seminars within two years. You will also learn how to efficiently apply the best tools from time and self-management, some methods to improve your work technique and to optimize and expand your communication skills.
In order to receive the certificate after two years, you must complete the compulsory modules listed below as well as two further seminars from the elective module . The respective seminars are marked accordingly in our training catalog.
Once you have completed all the required seminars, please submit them to the advanced training department. Please state the title and date of the respective advanced training courses by e-mail. You will then be issued with the "Professional Office Management" certificate.

With this course, we offer you the opportunity to attend selected seminars within two years in order to acquire knowledge and skills for successful project management. You will learn methods from classic and agile project management and have the opportunity to get to know the OpenProject project management tool. The course also focuses on self-management and time management as well as participation in the new PM community introduced at the hospital.
The certificate course is aimed at anyone who is new to the role of project manager or who will be working in projects under a different job title in the future.
In order to receive the certificate after two years, it is necessary to complete the seminars listed below. The respective seminars are marked accordingly in our training catalog.
Once you have completed all the required seminars, submit them to the advanced training department by emailing the date of the respective advanced training course. You will then be issued with the "PM Starter" certificate.

PM Community

It is recommended that you also take part in the "Introduction to OpenProject as a project management tool" training course. However, participation is not mandatory.
With the "PM Expert" course, we provide seminars to expand your existing knowledge in project management. The course focuses on dealing with change, which can also succeed with successful moderation and an appropriate feedback and error culture. The course also focuses on participation in the PM community newly introduced at the hospital.
The certificate course is aimed at all those who already have several years of experience in project management and may be in the role of a project manager and can provide evidence of the "PM Starter" course or comparable external advanced training.
In order to receive the certificate after two years, it is necessary to complete the seminars listed below. The respective seminars are marked accordingly in our training catalog.
Once you have completed all the required seminars, please submit them to the advanced training department by e-mail, stating the date of the respective advanced training courses and the completion of the "PM-Starter" course. Alternatively, please submit your externally attended advanced training courses. You will then be issued with the "PM Expert" certificate.
