The European Commission's Innovation Radar team recognizes an innovation of our project NEXUS and the Medical Center as a key innovator

Our research group was one of five consortium members of the Research & Innovation project NEXUS, which was funded by the EU Commission in the framework of the Horizon Europe – EIC Transition Open program (grant agreement 101058200). The European Commission's Innovation Radar team has just published the innovation Novel validated blood EV protein biomarker panel-based assay for PCa [prostate cancer] prognosis and surveillance, which was developed in this EU project, on the Innovation Radar's public website.
The consortium consisted of two Italian, a French and a US team in addition to our group. Our organization, the Medical Center – University of Freiburg, was recognised as a 'key innovator' in the development of this innovation thanks to our participation.
