Gastrointestinal oncology
A special focus of the Department of Medicine II is on gastrointestinal oncology. In the Center for Gastrointestinal Tumors, patients with tumors of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, bile ducts and pancreas are treated in close cooperation with an interdisciplinary team from gastroenterology, oncology, surgery, nuclear medicine and radiotherapy.
Patients with gastrointestinal and endocrinological tumors are treated as outpatients in our outpatient clinic and in the Interdisciplinary Tumor Center.
