The parents' café invites you

New offer for parents with children in their first year of life at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg starts on November 11, 2021

In the first few months of life, the nutrients in breast milk are exactly what a baby needs. But how often and for how long should a newborn be breastfed? And what can mothers do if they have problems breastfeeding?

The Parents' Café at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical Center - University of Freiburg offers parents with children in their first year of life a space to get to know each other and to talk to experts about different methods and the health-promoting aspects of breastfeeding. At the same time, individual educational and advisory services for the family, support and assistance in crisis situations and contacts to breastfeeding advice can be arranged. Trained and experienced midwives or nurses lead the meetings in cooperation with employees of the "Early Help" competence center.

The parents' café takes place weekly on Thursdays from 10.45 am to 12.15 pm (except during school vacations). The first date is Thursday,November 11, 2021.

Registration via the Parents' School website is required: www.uniklinik-freiburg.de/frauenheilkunde/gesundheitszentrum-fuer-frauen-und-elternschule/kursprogramm/elternschule.html
