The competition is organized by the Medical Center - University of Freiburg, Breisacher Straße 153, 79110 Freiburg (hereinafter UKF). By participating, you agree to the following conditions of participation:
What and how can you win? By participating, you have the opportunity to win the prize specified in the competition post. You can take part if you are a follower of the UKF Facebook page and by LIKING and COMMENTING on the competition post as stated in the post.
Who can take part? Participation is open and free of charge to any natural person with a minimum age of 14 years who participates from a location in Germany and has their permanent residence and domicile in Germany. Any additional costs associated with claiming the prize will be borne by the winners. Participants under the age of 18 require the consent of a parent or legal guardian, which is assumed by the UKF. Participation in the competition is only possible in one's own name. Participation via "straw men" or Facebook profiles of third parties is not permitted. Automated competition services and competition clubs are excluded from participation.
The UKF reserves the right to exclude individual persons from participation if there are justified reasons for doing so. These are, for example, violations of these conditions of participation, manipulation and/or illegal entries that contain insults, false facts, trademark, competition or copyright infringements. Users are liable for any legal violations. Legal recourse is excluded.
Procedure of the competition: The competition campaign starts with the publication of the competition entry and is limited in time. The end of the competition has already been announced on Facebook. After the end of the competition, the winner will be determined on the same day by means of an independent lottery procedure. The result of the draw will be published on Facebook on the day the competition ends. The winner will be announced in a comment under the competition post. By participating in the competition, you agree that your Facebook user name may be mentioned in this comment as part of the announcement of the winner. The winners must contact us within 14 days of being announced so that the prize can be sent to them. A new draw will be held after this period has expired.
Type and scope of data processing By participating, you agree that the data collected (Facebook user name, comment under the competition post, name and address of the winners) will be stored for the duration of the campaign and will only be used to draw and send the prize. All data will be deleted at the end of the promotion. Responsibility for editorial support lies with Benjamin Waschow, Head of Corporate Communications and Press Spokesperson, and the associated Corporate Communications department, in particular the social media team. What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right to receive information about the origin, recipient and purpose of your stored personal data free of charge at any time. You also have the right to request the rectification, restriction of processing (blocking) or erasure of this data. You can contact our data protection officer or customer service at any time at the address given in the legal notice if you have any further questions on the subject of data protection. You also have the right to object to the processing and the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority. You are entitled to these and other protective rights for data subjects in accordance with Art. 15 - 22 GDPR.
Exemption from Facebook This competition is run by the Medical Center - University of Freiburg, Breisacher Straße 153, 79110 Freiburg (hereinafter UKF). The competition is in no way connected to Facebook and is in no way sponsored, supported or organized by Facebook. All information provided is not provided by Facebook. Facebook is therefore not available as a contact partner for this competition. All questions/information in this regard should be directed to the UKF.
The UKF reserves the right to adapt, modify or terminate the competition at any time. Circumstances that may lead to this are, for example, disruptions to the competition due to force majeure, legal reasons, technical reasons (e.g. hardware or software errors) or manipulation of the competition by third parties. The UKF is not liable for consequences arising from participation in the competition that lie outside its area of responsibility. Cash payment of the prize is not possible. Claims to prizes may be transferred to other persons. Legal recourse is excluded.
