The special professional challenge!We treat premature and sick newborns, giving them the best possible start in life. In addition to the necessary high-tech medicine, the focus of our treatment is on development-promoting and family-oriented nursing care. Parents are part of our treatment team and have the opportunity to stay overnight with their child in the intensive care unit.

Our ward was modernized and expanded in 2011. We have all diagnostic and therapeutic options in the field of modern intensive care

We are part of the Department of General Pediatrics, Adolescent Medicine and Gynecology and work closely with the various areas of the Center for Pediatrics and Gynecology. We have over eight intensive care beds, four "observation beds" and five normal care beds and are housed directly in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology to ensure optimal care without long distances.
As our work is very demanding and challenging, we attach great importance to the support of our staff, who give their best every day.
