German Advisory Center for Hygiene (BZH)
Objective of the cooperation: Integration of basic scientific research in infection prevention medicine into everyday hospital hygiene procedures and reflection of research needs ("From bench to bedside and in return"). This includes hospitals at all levels of care, outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation facilities, medical care centers, and surgical and conservative private practices, as well as outpatient and nursing care facilities.
Joint activities and projects:
- Mutual use of the respective exchange platforms BZH colloquium/IIK hygiene meeting
- Regular meetings to coordinate cross-institutional infection prevention strategies
- Scientific projects
