Infectious Disease Outpatient Clinics
The infectious diseases outpatient clinic provides outpatient care and co-care for patients with confirmed or suspected infectious diseases. Clean Hands Campaign
What is the "Clean Hands Campaign"?
The goal of the "Clean Hands Campaign" is to improve hand hygiene as the most important tool for preventing hospital infections. It was launched on January 1, 2008, as a national campaign with funding from the Federal Ministry of Health. More than 350 hospitals, the German Air Rescue Service (Deutsche Rettungsflugwacht e.V.), and outpatient facilities are now participating in the campaign. The campaign is sponsored by the National Reference Center for Surveillance of Nosocomial Infections, the Society for Quality Management in Healthcare (Gesellschaft für Qualitätsmanagement in der Gesundheitsversorgung e.V.), and the Action Alliance for Patient Safety (Aktionsbündnis Patientensicherheit).
