The Institute of General Practice in Freiburg cordially invites you to join the Citizens' Advisory Board.

General Practice research makes a crucial contribution to improving and strengthening primary care. Research projects can cover a variety of topics, such as:

  • the benefits of new or interdisciplinary forms of treatment and their impact on the quality of life of patients and citizens
  • new care models
  • the development of digital health applications (e.g., apps)
  • links between the environment and health
  • and much more…

 Are you...

  • interested in getting involved in important and current topics in health research?
  • would like to help strengthen primary care?
  • are interested in research and would like to support, help shape, and make research accessible?
  • enjoy discussing these topics with other citizens and the institute team?

We would love to engage in dialogue with you, because…

Your opinion matters to us!

Here’s how you can get involved!

Through dialogue within the Citizens' Advisory Board, citizens' perspectives and needs are better incorporated into general medical research. This helps make research more accessible and understandable to everyone.

All citizens are warmly invited. The advisory board is intended to reflect the diversity of the population, as well as its perspectives and needs, as broadly as possible. We would therefore like to encourage, in particular, people who champion diversity, inclusion, and integration to participate. No specific prior knowledge or experience is required.

When designing new research projects:

  • please explain your perspective to us
  • contribute your ideas on research questions

When planning a project step by step:

  • we discuss potential goals and challenges together
  • advise us on the creation of informational and study materials

When discussing the results:

  • discuss them with us
  • share your ideas for publicizing the study results
